Alicia’s journey began amidst significant challenges, including growing up with an alcoholic father and a bipolar mother, and enduring abuse and sexual molestation at a young age. At 23, after a series of poor decisions such as dropping out of high school, drug addiction, and multiple suicide attempts, she found solace in Christ, accepting Him as her Lord and Savior. A pivotal moment came after a mental breakdown, when she sought therapy from a Christian counselor. Her path to recovery and spiritual growth was furthered by a 36-year career in corporate America, coupled with earning a BS and MS degree in Psychology. Today, she channels her experiences and education into her role as a counselor. She works at a Safe House, dedicated to women rescued from sex trafficking and addiction, and serves as a Pastor overseeing Prayer and Congregation at Covenant Church. Her life is devoted to guiding individuals and couples towards spiritual and emotional well-being, drawing from her profound journey of faith and resilience.
